Mateusz Romowicz

Mateusz Romowicz is a legal adviser with many years of experience in legal support for businesses operating in international markets.
The areas he specialises in include commercial law, economic law, European company law, tax law (with particular emphasis on agreements for avoiding double taxation), and maritime law.

He gained his experience providing legal services to economic entities in the maritime, shipbuilding and construction industries, and representing commercial companies involved in international trade and transport.

In addition, Mateusz Romowicz extablished smoothly functioning legal departments for two groups of companies with an international reach and profile (Poland, Great Britain, Norway, Germany, Spain, Singapore, New Zealand). He has also authored numerous publications on law in specialised press (recent publications: Mateusz Romowicz).

Mateusz Romowicz's educational achievements include:

  • Chicago-Kent College of Law and Uniwersytet Gdański (University of Gdańsk), School of American law at the Faculty of Law  and Administration: a full course in American law;

  • University of Cambridge, Board of Continuing Education, Faculty of Law, Centre for European Legal Studies - a course by correspondence with tutoring;

  • Uniwersytet Gdański (University of Gdańsk), Faculty of Law and Adminsitration, major: law;

  • Traineeship at Okręgowa Izba Radców Prawnych w Gdańsku (Gdańsk Chamber of Legal Advisers), and he passed the legal advisers' exam.
